Okay, that was not the promo I expected.

Oh man, talk about "Total Meltdown!" this is perhaps the funniest promo yet that they have.. and it's down right hilarious (Wow, Kim's Face melting down like a Nuclear reactor at Chernobyl... I like it! and poor Ron, Freaking.. (Rufus too!)

I have to say, after seeing Kim with "Joker's maniac smile" and melting as "the evil witch from the West".... I think I'm going to vomit!!!!. (I'm sorry, but I had to say that).

I could accept that with Shego, but no with Kim.

it is just trying to show that ron is not completely confident in his relationship with Kim, and is having nightmares that he is dating a syntho-drone, because he is not sure if this is real yet.

and Kim melting is the same thing the syntho-drones do when killed.

Will the first ep be KP as a synthodrone?

No. It was just a nightmare.

It's wonderful symbolism for Ron's nervousness. Kim was fooled by Eric in StD. She thought he loved her, but he not only betrayed her, he was specifically created to betray her. Ron knows that he cares about KP, but in the back of his mind, he's worried that the "real KP" wouldn't like "a loser like him." He's scared to death that this won't work out - as we all would be. And this nightmare is a reflection of that fear.

And it's perfect as a teaser because it shows us that their new relationship will be complex. It won't be a two minute conversion to bunnies and roses.

That's very True there Anitrain, and in fact Relationships are NEVER easy. in fact some people get into relationships thinking it's easy, and then they find out how complicated it is.. After all Think about this, Ron is indeed worried that Kim won't like him let alone date him cause he thinks, she thinks he's the "proverbial Loser". He's been made the butt of jokes and looked down upon by a lot of the Middleton High School Body and (Bonnie)Rockwaller even admitted it to Kim that her best friend is a Loser in So the Drama. (Hence the Food Chain Issue.)

But believe me, Relationships are never ever easy.. this is perhaps the first steps to something bigger, but believe me any dating is never easy. It's perhaps the most compiicated and Complex thing on the planet. and you know Ron.. if He can mess up anything just by touching it, Imagine how he feels with this.. It's almost like Ron's walking through a mine field.. barefooted no less.

So believe me, this will make a very interesting season for the folks who think that Kim and Ron should be together..(Sorry for all you shippers out there, but believe me, none of this is easy.. Maybe I should refer you guys to go out and read books on dating and relationships.. it's not all bunny and Roses like Anitrain said.. it's indeed very very complicated..

That promo really hyped this season up in my mind even more than it is...I wished tomorrow is Feb. 10.

I also thought it was twisted...I'm sure Bob, Mark, & Steve are not going to disappoint.

I completely agree with Anitrain and TucsonCoyote. When I first heard the complains about the new promo, I thought I must have gone crazy, because the meaning of the scene is very clear. Some people just didn't like watching Kim like that. Well, In fact, I liked it... No... I loved it. Because it is a nightmare Ron is having, and Ron is no stranger to nightmares, I'm sure of that knowing all his fobias. And knowing Ron, we understand that he is not the most self-confident man on planet Earth about things he is not completely sure of. Don't you remember his speech with Rufus in front of the mirror while he was getting ready for the Prom in "So the Drama"? He analized the situation quite well, in my opinion. In the 15 seconds promo, we get a perfect idea about Ron Stoppable's POV of his new relationship with Kim Possible.

Now I feel even better about season 4. I like the action comedy style of the series, but throwing in some angst from time to time won't hurt at all. After all, that's the way life is, and besides the mission stuff, it's also about Kim dealing with real life being the 'ordinary girl' she is. And let's not forget that Kim is not the most self-confident woman regarding this very same issue. She might be sure about Ron's feelings (at least, he was the one who confessed), but I think it might not be a smooth ride at all. Kim is on of the most popular girls in school (and even in the world) and Ron is... well... Ron is Ron (socially speaking). Oh, I could drone on and on and on... >__<

Moreover, I love that the scriptwriters are working on character development. At least Ron has a lot of growing up to do, hehe. And graduation is just one year away!!

Anyway, as I was saying... I'm so looking forward to watch the new episodes that I might self-combust (is it an actual word?). ^__^

Yamal, you said it best...character development is key...we learn about Ron's twisted phobias.

I hope its just a dream however your suggestion has possiblities? I think Drakken could capture Kimmie and replace her with a Synthodrone!!! That would make for a fun adventure and maybe tie into the dream Ron had. It really happen. I wonder if hes going to tell Kim that????

It's kind of funny but when you think about it, The Dream Ron had is more like Sue Ellen from Dallas (If anyone here recalls that series).

In it Sue Ellen finds out that her husband Bobby Ewing had died and thus had changed a lot of things in her life.. and this went on for over a year..

Then in one episode, They have Sue Ellen wake up and go into the bathroom. in there she sees someone in the shower, she opens the shower door and sees Bobby Standing there.. in fact it's been All of a Dream..

But in this case the real question is this: how much of it is a dream? how much is real? That is all subjective to the viewer.. but i think it's safe to say that the moment Ron wakes up screaming.. we know it's been a dream.. and More then likely that's all it is.
